If you want to run an event using any product of your choice, then you’ll need this license.
At Print Mysteries, our murder mystery case files and murder mystery parties are safeguarded by copyright law designed primarily for personal enjoyment. However, our Commercial Licenses forge a partnership between Print Mysteries and you, the event host, allowing you to host events using a product of your choice.
Who Needs a Commercial License?
A Commercial License is essential for anyone who wants to run a for-profit event.
This includes:
- Anyone who works as an event planner or party host
- Companies who plan to charge guests for tickets to an event
- Bars and restaurants charging for hosted events
Who Doesn’t Need a Commercial License?
If your event is purely for enjoyment and not for profit, you’re exempt from needing a Commercial License. This applies to:
- Private individuals hosting a game night for a small group of friends
What Does the License Allow?
You will be free to use a single product of your choice for for-profit events for a period of 1-year, starting from your date of purchase.
What Doesn’t the License Allow?
You are not allowed to sell the product in any form – digital or physical. You are also not allowed to share the product or post it on your website.
Acquiring Your License
Once you’ve purchased the license, reach out to us via our contact form and provide the following information:
- full name you would like on the license
- email address to send the license to
- name of product you want access to
- company name (if applicable)
- estimated date of first event
We will get back to you within 24 hours with your personalized Commercial License Agreement, valid for one year from the date of purchase.
